My name is Payton Glagau and I started Payton G Design in 2015 with the goal of helping local artists’ and businesses through promotion and design. I am currently located in Calgary, Alberta in Canada also known as Moh’kinsstis which resides in the traditional territories of the Blackfoot Confederacy including Siksika, Kainai, and Piikani nations, the Tsuut’ina, the Îyâxe Nakoda Nations, and the Métis Nation Region 3. I am thankful to call this beautiful place my home and commit to reconciliation by creating educational design material in collaboration with the first peoples of this land.

 

As a small business owner and performer, I understand the need to have clean visual identity systems, web and print material to stay relevant. My work in this area focuses on creating experiences through production, promotion, and display. I enjoy collaborating with clients to create designs that represent the essence of their business or artistic practice. My first step is always gaining a full understanding of what matters to my clients and what the goals they want to achieve with the designs I create for them. Creating an experience for viewers that is user friendly and thought provoking is what makes my work stand out. I not only help my clients with design work but also offer editing and content writing services.
